BASIC INFORMATION RELATED TO MNS EXAM 2021

MNS stands for an exam for military nursing. The MNS exam is only valid for female applicants and there will be 220 seats available for admission. The Indian Army B.sc Nursing 20201 application form will be released within the first week of November. The Indian Military Nursing Service is a four-year (B.Sc. Nursing) course at the Medical Services Armed Forces Nursing College. As an integral part of the Armed Force Medical Service (AFMS), the women officers in the MNS treated them. The Indian Army, Navy and Air Force perform a written MNS review once a year. AFMSM personnel have served in the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR MNS EXAM 2021

STEP 1  -   

The online application will be hosted on the Join the Indian Army website. On the same website, the procedure for filling in the application form, payment, admission card and subsequent processing will be available. 

• Applicants may apply online through joinindianarmy.nic.in and the candidate's eligibility will be known when submitting an online application. 
• The email ID of the candidate is the user ID of this website and the candidate will choose his or her own password. The only user ID for the entire process is this email ID. Candidates can, during the entire process, use the same active email ID. 
• Applicants should keep ready the passport size photograph file (soft copy) (size 3.5 X 3.5 cms) taken in light context in jpeg format and scanned copy file (jpeg/pdf format) of the candidates' signature before filling in the online application. These files must be attached to an online application, which is why they are needed. The file should be about 5 Kb-20Kb in size. 
• Eligible applicants would only be able to pay a sum of Rs 750/- (only Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty) through a payment gateway from the payment system. After the final date of submission of the document, no payment will be approved. 
• The applicant will be able to complete the online submission of the application after making the payment. 
• An acknowledgment will be produced and a roll number will be allocated to the candidate after filling out the information and submitting the application. The applicant will save the application form or print it. If the application is not saved due to any technical error, use the 'Save As' button to save the screen view of the acknowledgment and the screen view of the completed application form. 
• The applicant should connect the approved picture to the printout/copy of the saved application/saved screen view and certificate and sign the application. 
• The admission card for a written test can only be produced online after the application format has been successfully completed.

STEP 2 - At the time of the interview, the selection of candidates for SSC in MNS will be subject to the production of the following self-attested documents: -

• Matriculation Certificate (indicating date of birth)/School Leaving Certificate
• Valid certificate of registration for the upgraded PG/PB BSc /BSc Nursing course.
• PG/PB BSc/BSc Certificate & Mark list for nursing.
• Certificate NCC, if any
• A Gazetted Officer's Character Certificate
• Proof of Indian Nationality (Certificate of Nationality/Domicile/Voter ID/Aadhar Card/Passport/Any other evidence)
• No Certificate of Objection from the present employer, if working.
• Single self-addressed envelope with Rs. 40/- speed-post postmark (call letters if selected).
• Copy of release order if served in the Military Nursing Service beforehand.
• Copy of Gazette Notification/any other authority that specifically highlights your new name in the event of a change of name.

STEP 3 - 

There will be no approval of applications/payments in any mode sent by post – 

• There will be no contact from the applicants whose applications have been denied.
• There will be no communication about either the receipt of the request/application status/details or the reasons for the denied requests. Duplicate application submissions would be refused without any money being refunded. 
• The foregoing conditions, if deemed appropriate, are subject to change without notice. 
• Incomplete application, submission of more than one application, non-submission or incorrect number for submission are the reasons for denial of the online application.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MNS EXAM 2021

(a) Written examination: Only qualifying candidates are requested to take a written test during the first/second week of January 2021. The written exam of 100 marks will consist of Nursing, English language and Gen intelligence-based objective style questions. No negative labelling occurs. The OMR-based assessment of the response sheets will be performed at the MoD (Army) IHQ and the results of successful shortlisted candidates will be announced online on the Army website in February with interview guidance by the month of May. The individual responsibility of the candidates will be to confirm the outcome. This Office would not be liable for personally notifying the outcome.

(b) Interview and medical examination: the appropriate number (not more than three times the number of vacancies) of shortlisted candidates for the written test will be called for interview in Delhi in the order of merit during the month of Oct 2016. Only the applicants who have cleared the interview will then be subjected to a medical test. The interview and medical examination process can take 2-5 days. There will be individual responsibility for arranging accommodation. Call letters to report to the various hospitals in the Armed Forces will only be sent to the appropriate number of shortlisted candidates (as per vacancy and merit) who are considered medically fit in all respects. There will be no correspondence/ questions entertained. The Board's decision on the written examination and interview will be final.

Admission to MNS B.Sc. Nursing 

In order to provide their services in the Military Nursing Service for a total period of five years, the candidates who are selected must sign a legal agreement/bond.
