The Supreme Court has allowed female candidates to appear for National Defense Academy (NDA) exam. Yes! You read that correctly. Female candidates can also join NDA and serve the nation. It is a smooth step towards slamming gender discrimination and giving girls the opportunity to initiate a step toward the betterment of the country.
As it's all a new process for the country, many girls are curious and confused regarding the eligibility criteria for girls for NDA. The National Defense Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year- NDA 1 and NDA-2. NDA-2 is for girls. Both unmarried males and females are eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

UPSC follows stages of procedure for the selection process. It's a national-level exam so imagine the seriousness of the selection and level of competition. The selection procedure is as follows-

According to UPSC, the NDA exam will take place in offline mode. NDA exam comprises of two papers, mathematics and general ability. Given below are the details of the subjects.

Women applicants are not required to pay the fee for their application for the NDA examination.
The candidate must be physically and mentally fit, avoiding major body issues.
