HOW TO GUESS MCQ’S CORRECTLY IN MNS EXAM

Remember the most common mistake you made at the time of answering the MCQ question in an MNS nursing exam? The mistake was you forgot the basic strategy of choosing the right option. Do you know there are 2 ways to take off the missile of the exam?

First, we may fail to plan. As the old saying going: Failing to prepare is preparing to fail. So if you need to study, that doesn’t mean that you have to spend time sitting with a book. Preparation requires investing enough time reading and, at that time, it means studying the right way. Ensure that your study sessions are successful in the MNS nursing exam.

The second form of bombing a test is carelessness. This could be an explanation for more missed questions of multiple choices than even unpreparedness. So better tie your laces up and forget the careless behavior for attempting MNS MCQ questions.

Before you can give the right answer, you have to know what you're being asked. Don't be misled into believing that you're being asked about something that you're not. It is still wrong if you give the right answer to the wrong question.

In the MNS exam, you will get only 0.6 seconds time to answer the question and you need to make it valuable if you want to crack the MNS exam. So here we, BE PERSONIFIED presents you the ways to HOW TO GUESS MCQ’S CORRECTLY –

 1. ELIMINATION METHOD :

Eliminating choices is a fantastic way to make smart choices when you are not sure about the correct answer in multiple-choice questions of the MNS nursing exam. There are 3 or 4 potential options for any MCQ in the MNS exam. And every question has an option that essentially screams "I am not correct, of course."
Thus, removing the ones that seem to be totally out of chance, decrease the number of choices. This allows you to limit the problem to at least three or, if you're lucky, to two choices. And 50 percent or better would be your chance of guessing correctly.

 2. BEGIN FROM CHOICES

Starting with the provided options is often fast. In order to reach out to the correct alternative, you can put the values given in the question options. This is also one of the most critical methods in your analysis that you can use.
To solve the problems and arrive at the right answer in less time, you can also use short cut tricks while solving MNS MCQ’S.

 3. PREVENT LARGEST AND SMALLEST EXCEPTIONS

Outliers mean choices that have extreme values. If there are any questions in your test paper that have numerical value choices, then delete the choices that seem thoughtful while giving MNS exam.
For e.g., if some calculations are involved in a query and the options are given are a) 10 b) 60 c) 70 d) 1100, then remove options a) and d) and take a guess from the other two options, i.e. b & c. But one of them is possibly right if two alternatives are opposite each other.

 4. USE THE 3 TIER METHOD

This is a very old method that helps in gaining a high percentage with enough marks to secure a seat in the MNS examination. The question paper set by the faculty is the same for the entire students whether they are coming from govt. school, convent, or private school.
The first step included in this method is – you have to read the whole question paper thoroughly within a short span of time and without making panic. After reading the question paper you can build an image of the questions in your mind regarding which one has to be rejected and which one to attempt.
The second step is – Attempt all those questions which are known to you and you are confident about and avoid attempting those about which you are having great doubts. The third step is- you need to try solving those questions which are hard as per your knowledge or you are not sure about them.

 5. Questions with options like “All of the above”-

The answers to a given question in the MNS exam are hardly ever the 'None' and 'Any' choices. But here's the thing: now that paper setters know that with these choices, students can usually avoid addressing the problem, they often ask questions with those answers.
You must either figure out the issue entirely, or simply try to check each of the other alternatives, whether they are compatible with each other, whether they are compatible with the issue, and so on, to be absolutely sure. If you are able to verify 2 options and all of the above is also a choice then there are high chances that “All of the above” will be the answer. Because 50% the probability for the question having an option of all the above” will have an answer “all the above”.

6. PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THOSE QUESTIONS WHO HAVE 2 OPTIONS WITH COMPARABLE SOUNDS-

If two of the test options are almost similar in terms of pronunciation, the right answer is possibly one of them.
In an effort to trip you up, paper setters like to throw two contrasting choices at you. So, if you are guessing this generally gives you a 50/50 shot in the MNS exam.

 7. ANALYZE THE DIMENSIONS-

This approach has a significant role to play in solving MCQs or numerical physics in the MNS exam. By looking at their dimension, you can philter choices. Suppose you are asked to find the right time period equation in the question.
Now, you know that the time dimension is 'second', so only those choices that have a time dimension, i.e. second, can be right. And without m / sec as a dimension, you can blindly ignore the choices. In the example given, since the wavelength to be determined in A, options c and d are wrong.

8. When two options are completely opposite, presumably, one of them is right:

If two of your choices are exact opposites, then there is a fair probability that the correct answer is one of them. It's a tactic used to drive students away and make sure that the content is really known in an MNS MCQ exam.

None of these techniques or tips work 100 percent of the time (you're guessing, after all). The aim of MCQ hacks is to limit your choices down and come up with the best answer available. The safest method, however, is to study and be prepared for the exam in order to fully stop guessing.
